Job description
Progressive Systems Inc. has an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Technician! As an Electrical Technician you will report to the Electrical Assembly Manager, and be responsible for using drawings, photos, and schematics to assemble custom industrial machinery.
Salary: Depends on Experience
Quarterly Performance Bonus Pay of up to $1.50 – $3.00/hr. worked
Schedule
Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Wiring electrical components on machinery
- Conduit threading, routing, and bending.
- Laying out, mounting, and wiring components on electrical panels
- Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Performs occasional soldering of metals.
- Utilize handheld tools such as screw and drill guns for general mechanical work.
- Drill and tapping
- Perform all work in accordance with LO/TO procedures, quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Occasional travel to install and service machinery.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
- 18+ years old
- Basic reading skills
- Must be able to follow directions.
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Punctual and reliable
- Expected to supply basic hand tools.
